Our team is lead by a group of people who have over 125 years of experience in the waste management industry.
CEO
Timothy Kyle is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Executive with more than 25 years of financial and technology experience. This includes more than 20 years in solid waste experience. On top of that, for 20 years he has specialized in financial analysis, operational analysis & reporting, mergers & acquisitions, and enterprise transformation & integration.
Previously, Tim was VP of EnviroSolutions, Inc. He worked with all levels of the organization. While he was there, he provided financial, operational, acquisition analysis and solutions. This included providing key feedback regarding accretive value and synergies.
Before EnviroSolutions he worked at Waste Management where he held various management positions. There, he implemented and supported PeopleSoft Financials and operating reporting solutions. This included PeopleSoft data warehouse. While he was there, the projects he worked on focused on integrating information and reporting from multiple sources. These sources included, but not limited too, operational metrics, financial data, HR/PR data, and fixed assets.
Prior to Waste Management, he held various positions in multiple industries. These industries included the city government, oil and gas, medical, and real estate industries.
CFO
Greg, an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, was named an Operating Partner for Whitecap Enterprises in August of 2022. Prior to this, Greg served in various roles as VP and CFO of multiple private equity backed waste and medical waste companies playing a key role in the growth and ultimate exit for companies. He served as the CFO and Corporate Secretary at Santek Waste Services, a solid waste company serving over ten states, where he was instrumental in more than doubling the size of the company over a span of five years, closing multiple negotiations and financing over $200 million of business for the company. Prior to Santek, Greg was a member of the corporate finance team at Sears Holdings Corporation where he was responsible for the south region encompassing sixteen states. He worked in the $2.5B services contract portfolio, including 75 business units and merchandise delivery operations, in addition to managing the division capital budget nationally.
With a very diverse background including years of experience in the healthcare industry, retail industry and waste services industry, Greg was selected to participate in the Sears Leadership Training Program, “Leadership Insights” in 2002, was awarded a Green Belt in Six Sigma in 2003 and selected as a Peer Solicitor for Sears PAC in 2002. Greg has been recognized as a Presidential Scholar and an inductee into Phi Beta Lambda and Phi Kappa Phi. He has also completed volunteer work for United Way, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and the YMCA among others.
With their deep commitment to family, Greg and his wife, Wendy, have been married over 32 years and love spending time with friends, their children, and grandchildren.
Greg holds an MBA from Tennessee Technological University and a bachelor’s degree from Lee University. He is best known for his servant leadership style, team-oriented focus, and results-oriented approach to business management.
VP of Finance
Michael Schmidt currently serves as a Managing Partner at Whitecap Enterprise where he has management oversight of Whitecap’s waste and autism portfolio companies. Mike also is tasked with capital raising efforts for the firm’s portfolio companies. Michael is recognized as a passionate, thoughtful, and enthusiastic leader, with knowledge that spans finance and accounting to sales and operations.
Prior to joining Whitecap, Michael held leadership positions with finance, M&A, and sales responsibilities at regional environmental services companies with revenues ranging from $40 million to $400 million, with direct oversight of underwriting, negotiating, and integrating of over $100 million in acquisition related revenue. Additionally, he spent 13 years at Comerica Bank serving as one of the founding members of the Bank’s Environmental Services division, which is the leading lender to the environmental services industry.
Michael holds bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in finance from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRMTM) through the Global Association of Risk Professionals. Additionally, Michael is a CPA candidate.
Mr. Schmidt resides in West Chester, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children. When he is not working you can find him on the ice coaching hockey.
Operations
Ralph is a seasoned owner, operator and entrepreneur bringing over 35 years of experience to the team. He has owned, grown, and sold several successful businesses, including a large waste management and recycling company, a fitness franchise, and a well-known international food franchise business.
It’s not surprising that Ralph was drawn to business as a career. His father, also a successful business owner in the Huntingdon County area, started Park’s Garbage Service, an integrated waste management and recycling business, in 1960. The business still goes by the Park’s name today because of its long history, 54 years, of professional service and customer satisfaction.
Ralph’s business skills are reflected in his ability to lead, encourage and inspire his employees to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction. He created one of the waste industries first loyalty card programs. The very creative program allowed the company’s commercial customers to market and advertise to the company’s tens of thousands of residential customers. The program was very well received and coupled with the exceptional service continued to build a unique brand with strong customer loyalty.
Raph’s greatest strengths are his personal integrity, creativity and leadership.
Despite his demanding career as an owner of multiple businesses, Ralph makes time to be involved with community organizations. He is a member of the Huntingdon County Business and Industry Association, Shirley Township Sewer Authority and has served as president, of the Mount Union Area School District. He has also done volunteer work for the Huntingdon County Chapter of PA Cleanways and has initiated community programs such as Huntingdon County’s first single stream recycling program.
CIO
Michael Kim is a visionary and dynamic IT professional with 25 years’ experience. He’s worked in a spectrum of industries, including solid waste industry, Federal government, and the health care sector. Recently, he founded and is the current CEO of Nationwide Technology Associates, LLC (NWTA). NWTA is a company that offers consulting services focused on assisting startups, mid-size companies, and companies focused on growth to help them achieve their financial and performance goals. Michael also leverages his extensive experience to help organizations attain a competitive edge through cutting-edge IT solutions.
Corporate Manager
Mikayla is the Corporate Marketing Manager for Whitecap Enterprises, a private asset management company. She started her career in the fashion industry and has more than 10 years of management experience running successful brands.
She graduated with a degree in Marketing and Tourism & Events Management from George Mason University. While in school she successfully managed several retail locations worth $3.5m, curated exclusive partnerships with brands and local businesses, and successfully managed and operated multiple store openings.
In 2021 Mikayla joined Whitecap Enterprises she manages the marketing for all their acquisitions including Power Trucks USA, Autism F.I.R.S.T., Whitecap Construction Services, Extreme Steel Crane and Rigging, Extreme Steel, Extreme Rentals USA, and several Waste companies.
Mikayla has a passion for growing and creating successful businesses in a variety of industries. She is always sharpening her marketing and graphic design skills, staying ahead of the ever-evolving trends in several industries, and building solid relationships.
As a trusted professional, Mikayla is focused on understanding the company’s needs and delivering creative solutions that surpass expectation. She approaches each task with enthusiasm and a commitment to provide exemplary services that go above and beyond the competition.
Board Member
Barry is a seasoned executive with significant experience in multiple industries. These industries include waste management, equipment rental, and manufacturing. He brings thirty-five years of financial and operational leadership to the team.
Several of his key highlights include – directing the successful acquisition and integration of $1.1 Billion plus of acquired revenue from over 170 independent business units for a publicly traded waste management company; providing financial support services to numerous Small, Mid-Cap and Fortune 500 Companies; and leading and directing investment decisions for over the past fifteen years where he consistently outperformed the market.
Currently, Barry lives in Annapolis, Maryland and is a proud father to three adult sons and thoroughly enjoys following market trends. Always in search of investing opportunities.
